Baby Whitney holds a super special place in my heart. I was able to photograph her parents’ pregnancy announcement when she was just a little bean in her mom’s tummy. Then, Whitney made her arrival four months early. Mom and Dad called me a few days before Whitney’s early arrival to ask how we should handle her newborn session, and we ended up waiting until May after she had graduated from the NICU.
Whitney was born 1lb. 14oz, and she spent a very long time growing up in the NICU. When she finally arrived home, I was just so excited to get to meet her—and now look at her! She’s already one year old!
Whitney was quite the fan of her cake smash. She enjoyed touching the cake and getting it in between her toes! She even managed to give me a few smiles in between her cake demolishing. What a little sweetheart!
Mom and Dad, thanks for bringing Whitney my way. It has been such a pleasure to watch her grow! I know you and your family will be headed to PNW this summer, but don’t worry—I’ll make sure I’m there to visit and photograph Whitney some more. Who could resist this little beauty?
