Wrinkle-nosed smiles, unrestrained giggles, and squirmy bodies that can’t sit still. These are the little details that make childhood so precious, and I LOVE getting the opportunity to capture them.

I have been photographing the Sager family for the last four years, capturing toddler and preschool milestones for their son as well as newborn through age three photos of their daughter! I’m always honored to be able to grow with families!

Saying So-Long to these Sweet Island Sunsets

We set out for the Westside to do their final Oahu session! Sadly, the Sagers had to say goodbye to Oahu and move on to another adventure, but I have a feeling they will be back for vacations! For farewell luck, we had an amazing sunset. The billowing clouds shimmered with orange and pink highlights. The bluish-purple undertones created striking contrast. Porous rocks jutting out into the waves and the historic lighthouse provided some interesting, built-in props as well. The photo of the family’s silhouette against the setting sun is one of my favorites!

If rivalry exists between this brother and sister, you can’t tell here. They look so happy to be with each other playing on the beach. Check out that priceless picture of him kissing his sister as they sit on the rocks. I know their parents will cherish that picture forever (and maybe pull it back out as an encouraging reminder during the teenage years). Both the kids were all smiles once they knew there was candy in it for them and an ice cream treat at the end of the session. But even without the mild bribery, their little boy has such a sweet and caring heart, while their sweet daughter constantly beams with joy.

I will truly miss this wonderful family, and I am blessed that they chose me to capture some of the most important years for their family. I wish you the very best and many new exciting adventures, Sager Family!
