I tried to get Mom scheduled in for my spring mini sessions a few weeks ago, but we just could not get our schedules to line up. So instead, Mom decided to book a full family session, and it worked out perfectly! It was much better for Baby G to warm up to me and have some time to run and play before we started snapping photos—as you can see, he was just as happy as could be.
We had a gorgeous morning—perfect temperature, perfect amount of wind, and a perfect family! (I would call that a win!) We went out to Moanalua Gardens, which is certainly number one on my list of places to shoot if you like a garden-type location for your photos. Plus, it’s easy to get a permit!
Baby G is for sure going to be a heartbreaker when he gets older! He has killer blue eyes! Baby G also loves to show off his belly, and I even managed to capture a few belly shots of him. He sure made my job easy!
Of course, it had also been a while since Mom and Dad had some photos of just the two of them, so I swooped in on the opportunity to capture them without Baby G. It is always wonderful when I have parents like these two.
Thank you so much, Shepard family, for allowing me to capture these memories for you! Best wishes to your family—today and always!
(Also, a note to anyone looking for a photographer here in Hawaii: Be careful who you choose for your family photos. You need a permit for almost EVERY location on Oahu, and if your photographer does not have a permit, they are at risk of being fined and may not have a legal business or business insurance.)
