I first met the gorgeous Kelly family last year when Kecia asked me to do some family pictures for them. A year later, she called me up to once again request a session in the sunset of the West Oahu beaches, and how could I refuse?

Oahu Family Beach Session

Last year, we met up to do a family session on the beach in Oahu and it was such a pleasure to get to know this family. I love getting to see families come back to me, because I get to watch them grow up together. Kecia’s boys are becoming such fine gentlemen, too! Her oldest is finishing up his senior year and heading off to college soon—can you believe it? I am so used to growing with a family when they have young children, but this time, I’ve found that it’s just as much fun to watch older children come into their own over the course of a year, too.

This time around, the Kelly family also included Grandma in the session. She happened to be visiting at the time, so we made sure to incorporate her into the fun and make sure that we got a few shots of her in all her beauty as well. Extended family sessions like this are so wonderful. I love when everyone can be a part of the family photoshoot!

Kelly family, you are always such a pleasure to be around! And Kecia, I am so thankful for you introducing me to your mom and having me capture your gorgeous boys as they have grown over the last year.
