Seasonal television commercials always start showing just a little bit before the actual season. I know this drives some people crazy, but I always get so excited when I see the summer commercials—families grilling on the back patio, kids running carefree in the backyard, hammocks with cold drinks, outdoor picnics and plenty of swimming. So nostalgic. We live for this easygoing, memory-making time of year when everything slows down just a little bit so we can spend more family time together.

Sweet Summer Memories

What a gorgeous afternoon we had at Moanalua Gardens with the Luciano kids!
Mom had them dressed in the cutest outfits with the perfect color palette—the pops of bright, summery color against the backdrop of green grass and full trees completed the summer effect! Even with four precious kids (one of them being a baby), everyone was all smiles during this session! The siblings have so much fun together, and I loved capturing the unique bond that they have.

I always enjoy beach photos, but sometimes the beach is a bit too much for young children. I find the park to be a great alternative so they can run, play and be free without trying to keep them dry. These four didn’t seem to mind the location change. The park was breathtaking, and I think we all could’ve easily played and daydreamed the entire day away. I love the photo of the older brother sitting on the wagon with the two middle sisters by his side as the baby pretended to pull the wagon. I just think it’s the perfect representation of childhood—so cute and just a little bit silly. Thanks for these sweet summertime memories, Luciano Family! I loved spending my day with you!
