Can you believe baby Rocky is one year old? It seems like just yesterday I was doing pictures for his big brother at this age, and now he’s so big!

I have been lucky enough to have photographed not only Baby Rocky’s brother but the whole family several times before Rocky came along, so I know and love this family dearly. I couldn’t wait for his first cake smash!

And I wasn’t disappointed at all: this little guy has to be the cutest cake smasher ever! He enjoyed picking off little pieces of the cake and offering them to us as he ate them. After all, it’s more fun when everyone is involved. He wasn’t a fan of the frosting on his hands, though, and he even shed a few tears over it toward the end of the session. We definitely had to capture that memory. But really, is there anything cuter than frosting-covered baby feet? He obviously has such a tender heart, and it’s amazing to see that come through in both the smiles and the tears.

Mom and Dad, thank you for allowing me to capture this special moment for both of your boys. I am so honored to be able to capture these special times!
