Meet Micaiah. This sweet boy loved his time in front of the camera for his one-year milestone session, and I loved photographing him.

Mommy was determined that Micaiah should have a unique cake for his birthday and incorporated his favorite movie, Cars. I love how the cake turned out! Complete with Lightning McQueen on the top, it matched up with his little suspenders. You can’t get much cuter than that. This little guy started out so cautious with this cake, gingerly picking out the first few bites. And sweet little Micaiah absolutely enjoyed getting down and messy with his custom-made cake from Sweet Treats by Tricia.

In the end, his ten little fingers and ten little toes were nicely covered with cake and icing as this precious baby boy gladly smashed his cake away. I love it when the little ones get completely immersed in the cake smashing experience like that—both literally and figuratively! Micaiah is in all his glory, both covered in cake and surrounded by cars. What could be more fun?
