Meet the Winters family! These amazing people are going to be leaving the islands soon, so they wanted some lasting memories that would truly capture their life in Hawaii before saying a fond ‘aloha.’ And of course, I was more than happy to help.

The two oldest Winters kids are gearing up to take on college soon as well—so many life changes! So it was also important that we captured some family pictures before each of them ventured off for school and for their new adventures in adulthood.

So, we headed off to the west side of Oahu, where the weather could not have been any better for the family pictures if we’d planned it. The Hawaiian sunset on that side of the island almost never disappoints, which makes for the most beautiful photography sessions around that time of day. Add in the slightly overcast weather followed by blue skies painted with highlights—and we had a gorgeous natural backdrop for a naturally beautiful family.

As we spent time together on the west side taking pictures and playing around, I could tell that they were having a blast sharing this bonding moment together before the next chapter of their lives.
