I was so excited to finally be able to meet the Rudd family! We had to reschedule our session twice because the weather was not cooperating with us, but it was worth the wait to meet these amazing people!
Originally, we set out to do photos on the east side of the island, but the weather put a stop to those plans. (Rain and wind are really no good for family photos.) So, I convinced Mom to agree to come to the west side (because as most of us know, it’s ALWAYS sunny on the west side!). And this day was no different! Sunshine was in abundance, and the children were in great spirits—everything was perfect!
Their little boy was such a ham—I loved it! He cooperated with me so well, and he even modeled with his sisters. We also got some much-needed photos of just Mom and Dad. At the end of the session, we even got a really nice bit of color in the sky, and I used that opportunity to capture the family up on the reef with the water rushing over their feet.
It was so fun to meet this amazing family, and I’m sad to say goodbye. The Rudd family is headed to their next great adventure, courtesy of the United States military. Best wishes to you and your family as you set out for your newest chapter in life! If you ever find yourself back on the island, please don’t hesitate to look me up!
