Aren’t these two just the most gorgeous ever parents-to-be? When Megan asked me to do her maternity session, I was more than happy to agree. By the end of the night, I was in awe of both of them and their soon-to-be family of three.

Megan has done some modeling in the past, and boy, does it show. She’s so good in front of the camera—and so dang eloquent and beautiful! She rocked her maxi dress at the start of the session and moved on to a lace maternity gown, all of which photographed nicely in the sunset glow. I think I talk about how amazing the sunsets are here in Hawaii in almost every blog post, but it’s always worth mentioning: you can never go wrong with a Hawaiian sunset!

Since we had a low tide that evening, we took advantage of the opportunity to get up on the rocks and capture the sun and the slow drop of water. The whole feeling of the evening was one of peace, and I think it showed through in the images.
