The Lampleys have made the island of Oahu their home for four years, but now they are preparing to leave for a new adventure with the US Army. They wanted to capture an Oahu Sunset Family Session here in Hawaii before their move and I was, of course, honored to do so!

It was a nearly perfect evening. The weather was gorgeous, and the sunset over the west side of Oahu was golden—stunning for one of their last on the island! The different colors of the skylight gave their photos just enough edge of pop and highlight as the natural beauty of Hawaii came to say goodbye.

The king tides just so happened to decide to be present for the fun meeting as well. Although the tides were abnormally high, we were still able to capture a reef shot with the entire family. They were such good sports!

Their little boy was a little shy at first, but after he saw me joking around with his dad, he started to come out of his shell. He and his dad were naturally having a blast throughout the Oahu Sunset Family Session, telling each other jokes and poking fun at one other—which truly brought out their unique bond and love for each other.

Lampley family, thank you for allowing me to capture your last memories here on the island! I wish you nothing but success on your future endeavors!
