I have known little Gabriella since she was hiding in her mommy’s tummy, and I can hardly believe that she is already one-year-old!

I have been able to watch this adorable girl grow over the last year, and it has been so amazing. I remember that at the 6-month family session, she wanted NOTHING to do with me. (Heck, she couldn’t even look at me without breaking down.) I tried to shoot from a distance, but no luck!

Well, it looks like Gabby wanted to make it up to me, because her one-year session went swimmingly! The first few minutes of it, she took her time to warm up and would not flash me a smile for more than a tenth of a second. But her whole attitude changed when that cake went down in front of her! Oh my goodness, handfuls of cake were being shoveled into her mouth faster than I could capture her! At one point, she couldn’t shovel fast enough, so she plopped her face into it—the cuteness!

Thank you, Gabby, for coming to me for your one-year milestone! You have grown so much, and I have truly enjoyed every moment of this past year.
