I met up with the beautiful Dolan family on the windward side of Oahu for a family portrait session. I have to say—I loved getting to know these amazing people!

It was clear to see Mom and Dad were so proud of their children. Watching them was almost as fun as watching the kids playing in the sand and water. You could see the affection in their expressions and how much love they share for their family and for each other. I love being able to capture families truly enjoying their time together. Witnessing moments like these is one of the best parts of being a family photographer!

It was a joy to watch the kids explore and be themselves. The youngest daughter was a total ham for me, strutting around in her beautiful dress in front of the camera. Meanwhile, the oldest was up for a little fun and was sweet enough to playfully chase her sister around. Their son was so handsome, always smiling brightly.

In addition to the wonderful people, we had great weather and a beautiful, peaceful evening. The sky had gorgeous lighting and perfect cloud cover for us. With a light, gentle breeze creating the weather helped produce stunning, lovely pictures of the whole family on the shores of Hawaii.
