The Berri family was just full of laughter and fun stories when they came to see me! They had come out to the islands to visit the Aulani Disney Resort for their yearly family vacation, and I got to hear some really fun stories about how they got to meet Mickey Mouse and even eat breakfast with him! How awesome is that?

Just before the session started, we had a little worry with regards to the weather. We were under a huge gray cloud for most of the session, with the threat of rain in the distance. Towards the end of the session, we headed down to the water, and that’s when we were greeted with some amazing colors in the sky! The clouds parted just enough to let the sun color the air around us. It made for a spectacular photo for the family to hang on their walls back home!

At the beginning of the session, we played a bit on the grass, and I got one of my favorite pictures this year! Seriously, the shot of them looking up at the camera captured each family member’s personality to a tee. The kids were full of energy—but also ready to model and have fun.
