Benjamin is one year old! He came by the studio for his one-year portraits, and I could hardly believe how much he has grown.

Mom brought the cutest little monster cake that she picked up from Sweet Treats by Tricia for the session. At first, Benjamin was not too into the cake. He was a bit worried about getting his hands dirty. Then, he found the balloons his mom brought to use on the set, and those suddenly became his favorite thing in the room.

We directed him back to the cake, and Benjamin decided he loved the antennae on top of the monster and bit right into those! After a bite, he decided it wasn’t too bad to touch the cake and pulled off a few pieces to eat.

Mom, thank you so much for bringing Ben to my studio for his first birthday smash session. I can’t wait to see him again and continue to watch him grow!
