I’ve had the pleasure of knowing this family for the last few years, and I was so honored to take big sister Pippa’s newborn photos just a few years ago! It seems like just yesterday! We had just finished doing Pippa’s milestones and some family sessions when Mom and Dad told me that they were pregnant again—I was so excited! When you live in paradise, many of the clients are military families, and unfortunately tend to move after a few years, so I was elated that I would get the chance to be around for Baby Number Two!
This time around, Mom even wanted maternity photos, and we did a morning session out at the Ko’olina resort to capture her baby bump. Then, the day finally came, and Winnie made her grand entrance at Tripler Army Medical Center! I was so excited to get to meet her!
Winnie breezed right through her session, just like her big sister did when she was at her newborn session. Mom wanted mint, purple and white as the focus of her colors in the session so that she could make canvases to hang in her room. She and Dad also brought the most adorable headbands! A family member made them, and they look so fabulous in the carriage photo!
I was sad that Pippa wasn’t able to come (she wasn’t feeling good), but I look forward to seeing the whole family together very soon for family photos! Neal & Gretchen, I am so thankful for your friendship! I am excited to be able to capture the next year of Baby Winnie’s life before you head out on your next adventure!
