Introducing Baby Luka! Luka was just a dream to work with—and so was his family!

I honestly think Luka was probably the best baby I have ever worked with. He came to the studio awake, so we fed him, and he knocked out for the entire shoot! (Luka was born at a little over 10 pounds, so I joked that he for sure wanted to keep eating so he could maintain his rolls!) He slept so well that he even let me pose him without moving.

On top of that, Luka’s entire family was just so incredibly amazing—not only his mom and dad but his grandparents. Each set of grandparents even got in on the photos! And Mom and Dad were just the kindest, most gracious souls on the planet!

Mom and I had spoken before the session to plan the specifics of this shoot. She wanted something “Hawaii” so that they would always remember where Luka was born, and they wanted a scene representing the military, with Dad’s uniform and spurs for the boots. Then, they wanted something simple, just to show off Luka himself.

Thank you to Luka’s mom, dad, and grandparents, for being the most amazing family ever! I can’t wait to see little Luka for his next milestone!
