Cute little Baby James came to his newborn session just 8 days old, and what a gem he was! He literally let me do whatever I wanted with him. I could pose and fold and even stick sunglasses on him!

When Dad came into the studio, he was wearing his aviator shades. (Dad serves in the US Army.) That’s when the idea hit me—I could use my baby aviators with my airplane drop. The result was one of my FAVORITE Honolulu newborn portraits  to date! I loved how we were able to get a few photos using Dad’s uniform, too. What a great baby to work with!

And Mom was just so incredibly beautiful! I loved being able to capture her holding James in her arms and just loving on him. She looks so stunning—so much love in her gaze!

Mom and Dad, thank you both for coming and bringing this amazing little boy. I’m so glad you let me capture this special time in your lives, and I can’t wait to see you and James again in the future!
