I really do get to photograph some of the most beautiful babies on Oahu! Baby Amia was such a gem, and I was just thrilled to have her. Look at her hair! The curls and the color!

Amia was so good for me—she woke up just a few times to eat, and then she went right back to sleep! I got to try out the new balloon backdrop I had just picked up the day before. I begged Mom to let me try it out, and I think Amia just looks gorgeous in the basket with the vintage balloons behind her!

Mom was lucky enough to have her sister visiting as well—all the way from the Virgin Islands. Dad is away due to military demands, so it was nice for Mom to have someone from the family around to help with the newborn.

Mom, thank you so much for allowing me to capture this special time in your lives. Amia is absolutely amazing, and I can’t wait to watch her grow!
