I’ve known Adalynn literally from the time she was in Mom’s belly, and I’ve been able to watch her grow since then. I witnessed her birth, did her newborn photos, and covered every milestone—but I still can’t believe Adalynn is now 3!

We wanted to do something different rather than just beach or park photos for this milestone. So, Mom and I brainstormed together until we found the perfect place—a rural location that had just the right mix of brown grass, dirt roads, and charm. It worked perfectly with Adalynn’s antique dress from Blessed and Beloved, cowboy boots (from a friend of Mom’s), and rustic wagon & princess crown from TFJ Designs. Her floral headpiece was from Mr. & Mrs. Co.

Below are some of my favorite images. Toward the end of the session, Addy decided she wanted to play and have “no more pictures,” and I feel like I was able to capture that childlike innocence and determination in that moment perfectly in the one of the running through the field.
