When the Adair family first contacted me to do their family portraits, they told me that it had been years since their last portrait session. YEARS! Stunned, I asked them how many years it had been—and it was about seven. Wow!

So, of course, I couldn’t wait to get some updated memories of their family and dogs for them. (Dogs are always welcome, as long as you tell me in advance so I can double-check that we are allowed to bring dogs to a beach.) I think Mom thought at first that it was a bit crazy to have the dogs in their photos, especially when all the dogs wanted to do when we got to the west side was just run around and be free, but it all worked out! We got some great shots of the entire family.

Plus, the Adair family just has such gorgeous children! Just look at them—they are so perfect on-camera! It wasn’t even hard to get them to stand close to one another; it was obvious that the whole family loved each other.
