Meet Jenny—my gorgeous sister-in-law! She is due any day now with my nephew, who will be named Chase Phillip, and I am so excited to get to meet him!

Jenny and my brother asked me to fly over and do a maternity session in California. How awesome is that? Although it was a quick trip and it rained the day of the session, we still made it happen!

We set out for a location for the shoot and ended up at a small park right down the road from their home! It had a beautiful lake and gorgeous greenery (which was hard to find due to the drought in California). The next morning, we ended up using the front yard for the shoot! Who would have thought that some sticker bushes, rocks, and dead tall grass would be any good? But it was amazing—mostly because of Jenny! 🙂

I bought a tutu dress from Sew Trendy Accessories just for the occasion, and the other cream dress she is wearing also came from the talented ladies there. Of course, she looked gorgeous in anything!

Thanks again, Jenny, for inviting me all the way out to California! It is always a blast to get to spend time with family, and I can’t wait to meet little Chase!
