I have known the Bakers for about 6 years now, and I was so excited to do their family portraits again this year! I’ve done family portraits for them before, and I guess they liked me as much as I like them, because since then, I’ve done a baby announcement session, a “mommy and me” session, a maternity session, and a newborn session for Baby Charlie!

But I hadn’t seen them in a while (not since Charlie’s newborn session), and the time had come due for updated family portraits—before they could set out on their next adventure!

We set out to Koolina for a family portrait session. I wanted to make sure we had space for Charlie to run and play, without him eating a ton of sand at the session. When we got there, we really could not have asked for a better afternoon! It was a little overcast, but the rain held off, thankfully.

Both Charlie and his big sister, Maddy, were wonderful during the session. My favorite image from the session is of the two of them lying in the grass head to head. They sat posed so beautiful for me, and a great time was had by all! Seriously, Charlie is the most adorable little boy I have ever had the honor of photographing, and Maddy is such a doll! Spending time with these two will just make your heart melt.
