For the last few years, I have been lucky enough to be the Smith family’s photographer. I’ve been able to cover several milestones and family sessions for them, and it’s always a blast, so it’s a little bittersweet to see them leave the island.

Sweet little baby Gabby has never been a fan of photos. Up until now, we either had pictures of her crying—or a stare that eventually turned into crying. So, for this session, our number one goal was to get Gabby to smile, and I can certainly say we succeeded! I even managed to snag a few candids of her sweet face while she played in the wildflowers.

We had a great session out at the Westside Oahu Lighthouse with the whole family, too. It was a gorgeous night, and you can’t beat the sunsets. And Mom came prepared with a special request: she wanted a few shots of the family in their O-H-I-O outfits. Just a guess, but I think that might be their favorite team! 🙂

Thank you, Smith family, for allowing me to capture your final session on the island. I will miss you, but I know you’ll be amazing in your new adventures together!
