I was so excited when Micah reached out to me about doing a family session! I’d photographed her kids before, so, of course, I was thrilled at the prospect of capturing the whole family.

The first time I photographed Dylan and his little sister, Hailey, Mom was concerned that Dylan would be less than cooperative, but once he had a minute to warm up, he was just fine! He broke out of his shyness in no time.

This time around, I loved getting to see the close-knit family dynamics. I even got to find out where Dylan gets his shyness from—Dad was a bit camera shy when I first got him in front of the lens, too!
