Every year I look forward to my annual Christmas mini-sessions , and this year was no exception. I held them in the gorgeous Ko’olau mountains on the east side of Oahu, which had a vibe different from last year’s sessions at the Christmas Tree Farm,

I am so thankful for all of these families who joined me for this annual event, and fortunately, we were able to get through day one with just a sprinkle of rain. I decided to drag Santa’s sleigh and my fireplace mantle through the mountains (thank you Koons family for helping me with this!) — to make for a unique little setup.

I appreciate every family who braved the mud and the threat of showers to make some amazing Christmas photos. These mini sessions get better and better each time! I’m already planning ahead; who knows what I will come up with for next year?
