Joshua just turned one, and he is the cutest little boy! He made this session so easy for me, and he absolutely loved every second of being a birthday boy.

He has absolutely no stranger danger, even though this is usually the age when kids start to cling to their parents—he literally came right up to my studio and sat down on the bench with the smile already warmed up!

Mom made his adorable happy birthday banner, which you can see behind him in some of the pictures, and he spent the whole time smiling and laughing! He especially loved when I pulled out my fake cake and let him play with it. It’s a good thing Mom elected to do a portrait session instead of a cake smash, or this little boy might have had cake everywhere!
