Jadalynn is just the sweetest little girl, and I was so excited to get to have her in my studio! Mom wanted to do the add-on portrait session with the cake smash, so we had plenty of extra time together to warm up and get her to come out of her shell.

It took a few minutes, but once I was able to get her to crack a small smile, we were able to get some great pictures. And then when it came to the cake, she was unsure again—but once she finally touched it and realized she could dig into it, it was on!

Mom made the banner in the back out of plastic tablecloths. Talk about creative! And the cake was made by Lilylicious—isn’t it adorable?
