After Baby Malania was born at Tripler Army Medical Center, Mom contacted me to see if I possibly had an opening to do her newborn pictures. It was totally meant to be—I had an opening at the right time! We actually worship at the same church, so I was glad to help!
Malania has a ladybug theme in her bedroom, so we put our own little spin on that theme for the pictures and turned her into a ladybug! We also took a few shots in the princess carriage prop because Mom, of course, loved that thing.
Malania’s big brother was so proud to have his little sister in his life! All he wanted to do was take “his turn” to hold her and do pictures. He held on to her nice and tight and even snuck in a few kisses—absolutely precious!
The mom-and-daughter poses turned out so well—Mom rocked them! Dad was a little more nervous, though. He was scared to hold her because she was so tiny! Gigi (Mom’s godmother) also came during the photoshoot, and we snuck in a few portraits of this beautiful soul with the grandbabies so she had a few memories to take home.
Shearry, thanks so much for bringing your amazing family to come see me! I loved taking pictures of everyone and hope to see all of you again soon.
