Baby Kennedy came to me for her newborn portraits at just 8 days old! Talk about a well behaved little one! She slept almost the entire time; waking just once to eat!

Baby Kennedy has the most handsome big brother! But, unfortunately, he did not want to be in the photos with her on this day. Sometimes that happens with siblings, especially ones that are young themselves, they are a bit jealous of all the attention the new baby is getting, and they want nothing to do with them during photos. That’s ok, we’ll catch him the next session, when he is more comfortable with his new little sister.

Princess Kennedy rocked out her time in my banana leaf basket from TFJ Design and my curved bench prop from Mr. & Mrs Company. Mom brought Kennedy a crocheted giraffe outfit in the most gorgeous pink color! Her big brother had a photo when he was younger in a giraffe outfit as well.

I love that Kennedy’s Mom brought things that were meaningful to them. I encourage that of all my clients, especially for the newborn sessions. The kids tend to have opinions as they get older. 🙂
