Little Evelyn decided to come a little early—in fact, she was so early that we had to cancel Mom’s maternity session!
This little cutie decided at 31 weeks, while Mom was sweeping leaves on the back porch, to make her debut and send Mom to the hospital. Mom then went into labor and brought 3 lb. Baby Evelyn into the world, and I was able to visit them just hours after she was born. She was one of the tiniest babies I have ever seen!
After a few weeks in the NICU, Evelyn was able to come home and then to my studio for her long-awaited newborn session.
In addition to surprising her parents with her early arrival, Evelyn surprised them by being the cutest little princess I have ever seen. Mom and Dad didn’t know the gender of their new little bundle until she made her debut, but Mom had secretly been hoping for a little girl so she could use my newborn carriage prop—and Evelyn just rocked the look!
Evelyn was so good for me throughout the entire session. She only woke up one time! We were also able to get an All-American shot or two of Evelyn, which was so important, as Dad serves in the US Army, and Mom works for the military.
Thank you so much, Allen & Katie, for allowing me to capture this precious milestone for you! I am so excited to watch her grow over the next year!
