I’ve been photographing this family since little Ella was just 3 months old! I did several milestones for Ella and for her brothers, plus a Mommy and Me shoot, before I finally talked Mom into doing some family photos. I love doing their Honolulu Family Photography.
On the day of the shoot, we were a little worried about the weather and considered moving to a different location. But Mom just said, “Let’s go for it.” So we did. It turned out to be a gorgeous night on Bellows Beach, so I’m glad we stayed with it!
The boys, Lucas and Noah, were, of course, boys. They really didn’t want anything to do with pictures, but there was pretty much no way they could resist when I bribed them with candy. I didn’t have to bribe Ella with candy, but that’s because she was much more interested in eating sand! 😉
Mom requested a special photo with the kids as their “happily ever after” and a “10 years later” showcasing the family behind it. I think the images turned out well, and I hope Mom loves them, I know I do!
Thank you, Barton family, for allowing me to capture this moment in time for you. You’re always a joy to work with, and I can’t wait to see you again in January for Ella’s 2-year photo session!
